Marriage license
In Las Vegas obtaining a marriage license is a very easy procedure. You don’t have to wait or go through the hassle of having blood drawn. You need to have a government issued photo ID and then there is a brief application that needs to be completed, combine these two items with the $55 filing fee and you are issued a marriage license. If you do not have your marriage officiated within one year, then your license will expire and you will have to go through the process of applying again. No proof of divorce is needed for previously married couples in the state of Nevada.
Wedding venues
There are many alternatives in Las Vegas for wedding ceremonies. Depending on the venue that you select, most weddings in Las Vegas may be civil or religious. If you prefer to be married in a civil non-religious type of service, then you can request a desk wedding at the Marriage Commission for $50.
People come from all over the world to be married in Las Vegas. With an estimated 150,000 weddings each year, the business of Las Vegas weddings is extremely competitive. Chapels and locations for your wedding ceremony are found everywhere. From key hotels and local restaurants, to local churches and freestanding wedding chapels, you can even go to a golf course.
